Bosch Miter Saws Review

In woodworking, making accurate and precise miter joints is perhaps the nightmare of many woodworkers and carpenters, if you want to excel and make them effortlessly and easily a standard table saw won't do it, you need another tool, a miter saw.

And when it comes to miter saws, you just can't go wrong with Bosch, I've been a proud owner of a Bosch 4410L miter saw. So far I've found this saw to be a great tool for those who want to make great quality joints, mitres, dovetails, etc. I will also review the Bosch 5412L mitre saw.

Bosch 4410L miter saw

The Bosch 4410L is a 10-inch sliding compound miter saw,you can begin to use it right out of the box, its cuts are quite accurate from the factory settings, and with its blade you can cut easily and without much effort.

The only drawback that I would find on this saw is the dust collection, but most sliding compound miter saws are lacking in this respect, also it's a bit heavier than similar products.

This saw is very powerful (15 Amp), and some of the aspects I like is that most of the parts are in aluminium rather then plastic. The controls are easy to understand and you will learn them quickly, although if you want to make use of some of the most advanced features you will have to read the manual.

Bosch 5412L Miter Saw

The next saw I would like to review is the Bosch 5412L Miter saw, this one is 12-inch and has a dual bevel, this is a very powerful saw with a 15 amp, 3 HP motor. And at a high speed you will make much easier and smoother cuts.

One of the things I like the most of this saw is its brakes, it stops the blade quickly, for small cuts. Also comes with a laser tracking system, so precision is top-notch.

In terms of design, Bosch is invincible, no brand comes even close, they look so good and robust that when you look it side by side with a Makita, DeWalt or Hitachi, you almost think the other ones are toy saws. (We're talking about miter saws only.)

So you can't go wrong with these, they're are the best 12 - inch and 10 - inch miter saws there are.
